How Do You Pack for This Kind of Trip?

Packing for Florida can be a mixed bag, depending on what area of the state you’re ending up in.  A swimsuit is always good, even if you’re inland since many parks and hotels also have waterparks.  From here, it’s important that you pack sunscreen and bug spray or pick some up when you land since Florida is well known for its mosquito problem, and the amount of sunburns tourists often have when they leave.

Bring cool and breathable clothing, a bag or safe way to carry around your items throughout the day, and an empty water bottle you can fill when you’re thirsty.  Although you should bring sandals, also make sure you bring sneakers to wear when you’re going to amusement parks or walking through museums.  Although these feel like obvious things to pack, many under pack and are left uncomfortable for much of their vacation.
